Fabio Liberti
We are Present
‘We are present’ is a unique stage experience, a combination of lecture and performance, taking you on a journey into a creative dance process. In an interactive game between creators and audience, an exclusive dance performance is created right in front of your eyes. The stage is transformed into a playground where nothing can go wrong and you as an audience are involve in deciding the rules of the game. If you decide to be a passive spectator, then this will also work fine. The performance idea is signed by the Italian Fabio Liberti. A versatile choreographer with an interest in communication and language. His primary tool of communication is always movement, usually combined with text, theatricality and music. We are present is no exception.
We are present performed in Malmö, Umeå and Säter.
Oona Doherty
Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus
Just like a documentary dance by Ken Loach, Oona Doherty invites the people we seldom meet on a dance scene. Belfast’s young men, with their violence, vulnerability, burst of fury and their sense of boredom. The dancer Mufasa-Sandrine Lescourant channels in quick sequences aggression, humour, merriment and despair. The social portraits are fragmented and yet meticulously detailed, with sometimes overpowering physics and vocal energy. Gestures, sounds and words are combined in a distinct body language, and twists ideas of masculinity and moral. Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazarus is a performance which deconstructs stereotypes and find beauty in periphery.
Hope Hunt and the Ascension into Lazaruz performed in Vara, Stockholm, Jönköping, Umeå and Skellefteå.
Cie Massala
Oüm
The brilliant choreographer, Fouad Boussouf, combines self-willed and inquisitiveness with vigorous hip-hop rhythms from northwest Africa. His work is a fusion of numbers of dance styles, all assembled under an umbrella of Moroccan rhythms and Arabic influences. With Oüm he is inspired by Oum Kalthoum, an amazing Egyptian female singer who, dressed in man’s clothing, could improvise for hours, and Omar Khayyam, a Persian poet and mathematician who lived during the eleventh century. The performance Oüm is a homage to both, the magnificent prose from a Persian poet and resonance of a feminine voice from the east – an echo between Beirut and Cairo.
Oüm performed in Piteå, Luleå, Örebro, Malmö, Vara and Kungsbacka.

She confirms her position as one of Sweden’s most beloved choreographers with her sculptural idiom and poetic mantra – the most vigorous and headstrong. Black Rainbow is an inner journey. Scary Solo/Omkretz22
Cristina Caprioli is a choreographer who is incessantly present. With a solid list of qualifications and artistry and in continuous progress, her work is characterized by complexity and physical precision. In Scary Solo Caprioli dance her own choreography in the performance. It is an uncompromising solo where the hair sometimes whirls around the stage room, but at times becomes tranquil and uncertain. As if her restlessness is transformed into small trembles.
However, if Scary Solo is attentive, Omkretz22 is quick as lightning and holds a constant tempo with captivating music. The eminent dancer, Madeleine Lindh, takes the scene with sharp angles, dance on the diagonal and high leg lifts. Together with live music by Yoann Durant, she gets to end an evening of perfect balance of stringency and speed.
