Partners
Dansnät Sverige consists today of 15 partners, active in 16 of Sweden’s counties. Their field of activities stretches from dance scenes, institutions, regional dance- and musical organizations to local and regional culture administrations. Most partners collaborate with other organizations in the area where they are active. All in all, the extended network involves around 30 organizations fulfilling Dansnät Sverige’s tours and co-productions.
Culture administration, The Region of Västra Götaland
is a cultural administration within the region of Västra Götaland. They co-operate with municipalities, free culture groups and the civil community in the whole of Västra Götaland. The Administration of Culture development cooperates within Dansnät Sverige with Stora Teatern in Gothenburg, Vitlycke Centre of Performing Arts and the municipalities of Uddevalla and Alingsås.

Dalateatern
is responsible for matters concerning dance in the county. In the work to develop the professional dance in Dalarna the region cooperates with Säter’s municipality. Their intentions are to strengthen the county’s infrastructure for dance as an artform, and to encourage projects connecting folkdance with artistic dance.

Dans i Nord
is Norrbotten’s regional resource– and development centre for dance. They work to ensure that the citizens in the county can continuously take part in qualitative dance performances.

Dansens Hus
is the largest dance scene for guest performances in Sweden. This is where Swedish and international contemporary dance and closely related stage art is presented. Dance art related seminars and lectures do also takes place in the house in the centre of Stockholm.

Dansstationen
is Skåne’s dance scene for guest performances. The organization consists of three parts: guest performances, the touring company’s own productions for the young public and the regional child- and youth festival Salto!

Gävle Teater
is a guest performance venue with fine old traditions and with a broad variety of theatre, circus, concerts and dance. Gävle Teaterförening is responsible for the programming and commissioned by Gävle municipality. The theatre works with Region Gävleborg with the aim to present dance in other cities in the county, such as Bollnäs, Sandviken and Ljusdal.

Jönköping municipality, Culture and Leisure administration’s
dance venture has the fitting name of Dansnät Jönköping which is locally responsible for programming dance performances as well as developing the professional dance in Jönköping.

Linköping municipality, Culture and Leisure administration
is responsible for the municipality’s dance activities. The purpose being to develop dance as an artform, and to introduce contemporary dance performances and to develop the programming skills from a local perspective.

Norrlandsoperan
in Umeå is the home of performing art with a regional mission. This is where you will find a symphony orchestra, opera, dance, music and a room for contemporary art. Norrlandsoperan shows around 20 dance performances per year, self-produced as well as guest performances.

Region of Uppsala, Administration of Culture development
is responsible for the region’s dance activities. In accordance with the regional mandate here is where dance as an art- and form of expression are developed. They present Dannät Sverige’s performances in cooperation with Uppsala Concert and Congress and Knivsta Centrum för Idrott och Kultur.

Regionteatern Blekinge Kronoberg
is something as unique as a county theatre that covers two counties. They produce theatrical performances as well as dance performances, presents guest performances and tour the counties of Blekinge and Kronoberg. In Kalmar they work togther with Byteatern in presenting dance.

Rum för Dans
presents and co-produces contemporary dance to the public of Halland. In Rum för Dans the region of Halland works in close cooperation with Kungsbacka municipality and Falkenberg’s municipality. The dance is presented at Kungsbacka Teater and in Falkhallen.

Vara Konserthus
presents cultural experiences in the field of performing art and is one of Västra Götaland’s dance scenes. The Concert Hall has a regional commission to develop and strengthen dance as an artform and to make dance available for all citizens by presenting approximately eight dance performances per season.

Västmanlandsmusiken
is the regional institution with a mandate to inspire and support the life of music- and dance in Västermanland. Extensive dance activities are carried out within Länsmusiken and Dansnät Sverige’s performances are presented at Västerås Konserthus.

Örebro Municipality, Culture and Leisure administration
has a misson to develop dance and to offer all citizens in Örebro municipality qualitative dance performances. Örebro municipality and Dance in Örebro County have an agreement concerning professional dance and wish to offer a broader dance selection in order to reach out to a wider public.
