Ángel Durant / Loraine Dambermont (ES/FR)
Clinch / Toujours de 3/4 face!
In the duet Clinch, Àngel Duran grapples with macho culture’s virile attitude and the way it represses emotion. The name of the show refers to the moment when two boxers wrap their arms around each other and lock each other in place until the referee separates them.
The second item, Toujours de 3/4 face!, is presented by Loraine Dambermont, who reveals her savviest secret self-defence techniques. Set to the sassy voice of karate king Johnny Cadillac, we are treated to a “live tutorial” that will leave us both laughing and feeling slightly uneasy.

Together they bring gqom – a dynamic dance style packed full of rhythm and attitude – straight from the clubs of Durban and into the spotlight. The collective explores dance’s groove, its vibe and its connection to both music and the individual. Expect to be wowed by synchronized movements, super-fast footwork and plenty of bass. Change
Welcome to a fun, kaleidoscopic show concept where chance determines the how the performance will pan out. Five choreographies are paired with five different pieces of music and lighting designs, all with their own distinctive flavour. In an initial lottery, the audience gets to spin a fortune wheel to decide on the evening’s unique combination of dance, music and light. Will it be a trio in purple dancing to electronic sounds, a solo performance featuring yellow percussion, or maybe a quartet with piano accompaniment in blue?
Change performed in Falun, Linköping, Västerås, Göteborg and Uppsala
Silvia Gribaudi (IT)
Graces

Sofia Södergård (SE)
MASC
In the performance MASC, choreographer Sofia Södergård portrays an intense longing for love, a longing we all carry with us, but which can have many different faces. With a feminist perspective and queer stories, she takes us on a charged journey about masculinity and femininity, same-sex love, violence in intimate relationships and the fight for freedom. In a mix of reality and fiction, Södergård combines drama, fantasy, seriousness, humor and absurdity. From kitchen sink realism to escapist club nights, a life is revealed where a polished facade hides a painful reality.
MASC performed in Umeå, Vara, Stockholm, Falkenberg and Malmö

Taranto Aleatorio
Forget frills and castanets—here you’ll encounter unfiltered flamenco with two women spitting sunflower seeds and puffing on cigarettes. Bold and infused with a generous dose of humor, the duo interprets the flamenco form Taranto, performed in the show with raw simplicity: dry singing and no guitar accompaniment. With childlike pride and in the spirit of punk, La Chachi and Lola Dolores break new ground in the history of flamenco. It becomes a wordless conversation of unapologetic gestures, voices, and bodies—a performance that is both refreshing and rebellious.
Taranto Aleatorio performed in Karlshamn, Malmö, Linköping, Falun, Vara, Växjö and Varberg
K. Kvarnström & co (SE)
STOLEN
STOLEN is a contemplative duet between lutenist Jonas Nordberg and choreographer Kenneth Kvarnström. With a collection of chairs, the bold melodies of the baroque lute, and a costume made of pillows, the duo creates a quiet and philosophical reflection on the transience of life. Through finger dancing, seated dancing, and a dance-like fugato, we are guided through a performance where body and movement are interwoven with bombastic tones and delicate ornamentation.
STOLEN performed in Umeå, Vara, Uddevalla and Knivsta
Niki Awandee Tsappos (SE)
The Rose Thread
Niki Tsappos turns her gaze inward to create a new solo work inspired by Mother Earth and a mother’s words. Through rhythm, voice, loops, and flow, she explores the intelligence of the body, the processes of nature, and our inner landscapes. With the rose as both metaphor and compass, she guides us on a personal journey in the footsteps of our mothers.

Burn Baby Burn is her third piece on the theme of groove, and now it’s time for a spectacular grand finale.

This is not a religion
This is not a religion begins just like all manipulation—with flattering words, encouragement, and promises of a rose-tinted community. The seven dancers’ smiles are intoxicatingly joyful, and their bodies meticulously choreographed. But beneath the surface of security, the patterns start to shift. A leader emerges, and the line between collective belonging and controlling power becomes blurred.
This is not a religion performed in Jokkmokk, Piteå, Skellefteå and Umeå
