Experience the hottest street dance showcase in Europe

Capoeira, Iron Skulls and top-tier street skills – in Attitudes, the audience gets to witness a colourful palette of street styles from Sweden, France and Spain.

A trio inspired by the international dance battle scene, a hybrid of breaking and performance, and a piece of Brazilian cultural heritage come together to create an unforgettable evening for anyone who is passionate about dance.

Behind Attitudes is a unique international network of partners, including Sweden’s Norrlandsoperan, Spain’s HOP festival and France’s Collectif FAIR-E. Together, they have co-produced the three-part show, which treats audiences to an evening packed full of vibrant performances. Come and share the excitement with us!

    Majeko

    Sweden

    Majeko is a Sweden-based dance collective featuring dancers Kaide Gonzalez, Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall and Marcus “Mackie” Larsson.

    Fredrika “Freddie” Burvall is a prominent dancer and choreographer with a main focus on house. She was educated at Åsa Folk College and has since created the performances GALAX and MAKING WAVES. In 2022, she participated in the performance SEARCH by Lisa Janbell. Fredrika is active in House Decoded by Wesley Rommy, with whom she also collaborates in her latest initiative, SoWePlay, which explores the potential of play as a basis for movement, health and community.

    Kaide Gonzalez is a dancer and choreographer specialising in house and hip hop. Having trained at Åsa Folkhögskola college and Amsterdam’s Academy of Theatre and Dance, he has developed the “Leviathan flow” freestyle movement practice, which forms the basis for his own creative dance process. His solo work 60 seconds was performed at Dansens Hus in Stockholm in the spring of 2024, and he has also appeared in pieces by the French dance company Black Sheep and Dutch dancer and choreographer Alesya Dobysh.

    Mackie Larsson has spent years immersing himself in hip hop and house dance styles, including through the Five Styles and One Style courses run by Åsa Folkhögskola. He has taken part in various competitions and battles and has won contests such as the Hip Hop Weekend 2vs2 battle in the House category and Paris Dance Delight, together with the French dance group Kaynix supreme. He also made the final of Japan Dance Delight with the same ensemble.rn

    Iron Skulls

    Iron Skulls is a dance collective based in Barcelona, but with members from all over Spain. The group was born out of the Iron Skull Crew, which has been participating in breaking battles since 2005. The collective was formalised in 2013 and has since developed a distinctive style that blends hip hop, breaking, acrobatics and contemporary dance with influences from the worlds of design, fashion, music and martial arts.

    Kaê Brown Carvalho has a background in capoeira and contemporary dance, which has led him to develop a unique breaking style. He is one of the founders of the dance crew “Les Ratz” and has collaborated with François Frénétik (Compagnie Primitif), the Zombeavers group and Saïdo Lehlouh, to name just a few.rnrnJerson Diasonama is a versatile dancer and photographer who combines freestyle and performing arts with his eclectic body language. In 2017, he set up Essens:corp, an experimental laboratory exploring the aesthetics of movement. In 2022, he won the “Danse élargie” (“Extended dance”) competition organised by the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris and the Musée de la danse, in collaboration with the Hermès Corporate Foundation.rn
