Anna Öberg 2024

Incus

Long-awaited stage comeback

After a few years working behind the scenes, Anna Öberg is back in the spotlight. With a background in Swedish folk dance and acclaimed for her innovative approach to the genre, she takes us on a feel-good performance filled with rhythm and community.

In Incus, Öberg returns to the core of her practice – listening and moving in and through rhythm. Joining her on stage are musicians Olof Misgeld and Johannes Burström – three voices that collide and argue, cheekily and playfully.

The interplay between music and dance has always played a central role in Anna Öberg’s works, as has the relationship between audience and artist, as seen in previous works toured by Dansnät Sverige, such as Solitude (2019) and Spår (2012).
