BUTCH REALNESS WHEN QARL QUNT ENTERS THE STAGE
Anything can happen when Sofia Södergård enters the stage transformed to the drag king Qarl Qunt. Qarl is queer, has the firmest grip and thinks that nothing compares with pickling vegetables. With his interest in both power and sexuality he invites the audience on a crossover performance which lands between cabaret and performance. Through the dance genres Voguing and Waacking delivers butch realness, challenging the stereotype of masculine and feminine.
